Here at Sunshine Coast Photos, we care about the environment, and we are proud to declare that we are reducing our carbon footprint through a number of initiatives.
All of our staff drive fuel-efficient vehicles, scooters, or ride bicycles to work.
We turn off all electrical items (apart from our small fridge of course) each evening before departing the office.
We only run the air conditioner during the warmer months.
We use green cleaning products.
We have a plant in our office.
We operate a paper-recycling scheme through the Endeavour Foundation.
We use AGL’s 100% carbon offset GREEN energy.

Need a better aerial view of your project? Want to sell your property quicker? Then you need dramatic aerial perspectives of your project or property unlike any other!
Our blimp offers the perfect vantage point — high enough to view your project in the context of its environment, yet close enough to dramatically showcase your project or property front row centre! We can send the blimp up as high as 120m to find the absolute best perspectives. The blimp is the ONLY legal way to get high aerial photos in urban areas as all other aircraft must stay above 1000ft.
So why use the blimp?
- Higher than a pole. The blimp can fly any height up to 120m to easily shoot over surrounding properties.
- Much lower than an aircraft. A helicopter cannot hover less than 400 feet (122m) over built up areas.
- No need for flat ground or vehicle access. We can go anywhere a person can walk (or steer a boat).
- The blimp can be launched from a boat to shoot waterfront properties with water (and even passing water craft) in the foreground.
- The blimp can be launched from below an elevated property and still shoot from above. Great for pole homes.
- The blimp can be moved around to different angles and sent aloft to any height in its range to ensure that your property is uniquely captured from the best perspective. See the difference for yourself.
- Silent operation allows us to discreetly shoot your property without disrupting the neighbourhood or surrounding environment.
- The blimp can accurately shoot proposed views for highrise developments prior to construction. To achieve this the camara is positioned at the eye height of each level (1.5m above the slab) and rotated to take in all views. (see right)
- Can provide valuable information in skyline impact statements for city council submissions. We fly the blimp on your property at the proposed height of your development and then take shots of the blimp from key viewpoints (at ground level). This provides an accurate representation of the impact that your development will have on the skyline.
The blimp offers ideal perspectives for residential and commercial photography plus a wide range of other applications ranging from roads and traffic studies to new development progress to sporting events. Because the operation is absolutely silent, we can linger on location at heights ranging from 10m to 120m without disturbing the neighbours. The extra time on site permits us to wait for ideal lighting conditions and move around the property to capture the most flattering views.
We are also preferred aerial photographers when helicopter or fixed wing aircraft are required. Light aircraft are perfect for large projects requiring views from higher altitudes, or for remote and difficult to access properties. Using a 4 seater helicopter allows us to bring along up to two clients for project viewing – useful for pointing out project details that need to be photographed, or simply as a treat for your employees.
